What could be better than spending your summer with SpaceNews?

It’s not space, but it’s close*.

We have an opening in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia, this summer for an editorial intern to help us produce our award-winning website, electronic newsletters and bi-weekly print magazine.

Preference given to media-related majors with a knack for design and an eye for good photos.

Should be familiar with WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite (especially inDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) and AP Style.

An enthusiasm for all things space is a big plus. Our summer 2015 intern moved on to the Commercial Spaceflight Federation and the House Science, Space and Technology Committee.

Apply by visiting our posting at Internships.com.

* We’re three blocks from the nearest Metro station and roughly 62 miles from space.
